Big Al’s Bar-B-Q Sauce

1 cup ketchup
¼ cup unsulfured molasses
1 cup tomato sauce
2 tsp hickory flavored liquid smoke
½ cup and 2 TBS brown sugar
1 TBS butter
½ cup and 2 TBS red wine vinegar
¼ tsp garlic powder
¼ tsp onion powder
1/8 tsp chili powder
¼ tsp cayenne pepper
½ tsp paprika
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp celery seed
½ tsp black pepper
1/8 tsp ground cinnamon

In a large saucepan over medium heat, mix together all ingredients. Reduce heat to low and simmer for up to 20 minutes. For thicker sauce, simmer longer, and for thinner, less time is needed. Sauce can also be thinned using a bit of water if necessary.
